Breakfast, anyone?

Every week, I have breakfast with friends at Perkins.  The food at the guest house is “something completely different,” as Monty Python would say.   Here’s what they served yesterday morning: rice porridge, a fried egg, pickled cucumber, pickled cabbage, fried hamburger bun, and a steamed bun filled with pork and chopped vegetables. There was enough for two or three people.

What does tomorrow mean? It is 5:30 pm here, but at home it’s 5:00 in the morning. I leave Weihai tomorrow and make a stop in Beijing. ...
