Passing the Torch


For five of the past six summers, I've taught in China.  This year, I've been invited to help run an English camp in the Czech Republic under the guidance of my friend and former pastor, Michelle McKinnon-Young who is working in Prague.

China still needs English teachers, of course. Brian Bowman who's been working as a graduate assistant in my department is going to Weihai, China this fall.  He'll be teaching in the department where I worked in during the Fall of 2006.

We wish Brian good luck, safe travels, and exciting adventures.

What does tomorrow mean? It is 5:30 pm here, but at home it’s 5:00 in the morning. I leave Weihai tomorrow and make a stop in Beijing. ...
